Fri, 30 Oct 2009 19:35:30 -0400Golf Irons and Golf Iron shots are an integral part of every golfers game. But how many sets of Golf Clubs should you have to go through before you find the right set for you? Well, we are going to try to simplify that decision for you.
Are you just starting the game of golf? Or have you been playing for some time but still consider yourself a beginner? The following information may be beneficial for you.
The Acer XK HT (High Trajectory) iron is designed for either slower swing players, beginners or those mid and higher handicappers looking to improve upon their iron play. A 30% wider sole than the standard Acer XK model coupled with additional loft and lower and a deeper center of gravity will enables the player to get the ball up in the air quickly from virtually any lie and hold the greens. The expansive undercut channel and generous hitting surface makes this one of the most forgiving irons available anywhere. Manufactured of 431 stainless steel.
Who ever said a narrow soled design can’t be forgiving? The slim profile was carefully selected based on feedback accumulated over years from numerous golfers who didn’t want to have that chunky appearance when setting the club behind the ball. Yet these very same players still demanded all the most modern game-improvement features at their disposal to help them lower their scores. From the non-glare topline to the generous offsets allows for the majority of today’s players to hit both solid and straight shots to inspire confidence in their game. The Standard Acer XK model could soon be the standard in the industry. Manufactured of 431 stainless steel.
Are you a low to mid handicap player looking to improve your Irons game? Are you looking for more consistent Irons play? This information may help you.
The new Acer XP 905 Pro Irons are custom engineered for the low to mid handicapper seeking reduced offset, low ball spin and high flight trajectory. Continuing the evolution of our best selling standard XP 905 irons, the Pro version features stainless construction and the same deep undercut cavity and heel/toe “notch” weighting as the original XP 905’s. The new XP Pro’s offer maximum perimeter-weighting and a high moment of inertia for ultimate shot shaping control. The low center of gravity creates a higher launch angle and more solid feel at impact.
The Mantara family welcomes its newest addition! Now an iron which extends the concept creating ultra-high MOI to greatly reduce twisting on off-center shots. The Mantara iron removes mass in every conceivable location where it is least needed and redistributes to the low and rear corners of this extreme perimeter-weighted design. The wide sole and twin rear wings provide the accuracy you would expect from a hybrid club, but with the appearance of an extraordinary iron. The large effective hitting area augmented by a radius sole to prevent “fat” shots perhaps making this the most playable club on the market. Flagsticks take cover you have been warned!
Ok low handicap and scratch golfers! This information should make choosing your New Set of Irons much easier for you. Research the Golf Irons suggested in the following text, we have, then you make your decision.
Big, bad and bold are just some of the words to describe this powerful new iron design. The precision cast 431 stainless steel outer shell creates the foundation by optimizing the deep, rear center of gravity location for the extremely high moment of inertia resulting in superior accuracy and a driving trajectory. It is joined together with a separate high-performance face plate formed by an ultra-thin sheet of high strength 420 specialty maraging steel. This translates into a more explosive ball velocity coming off of the face for the ultimate in distance. From the ultra-wide beveled sole and heavy rear mass to the unique appearance at address, the Caiman Irons put more raw power in your hands to produce shots that you only dreamed of.
The Pro model features all the important details a better golfer covets in a modern day iron. While this model is still considered a game-improvement design from the undercut cavity to the enhanced heel-toe weighting, the XK Pro has the reduced offset, more compact blade length, beveled sole and thinner topline preferred by better golfers. The elongated hosel length is there to control the trajectory and allow the golfer to work the ball when needed…everything the better golfer expects out of a premium club and perhaps more! Manufactured of 431 stainless steel.
Who says an advanced game improvement model can’t look conventional? While it does feature a moderate topline, reduced offset and classic profile at address, the secret is in the sole and rear cavity mass stabilizing bar. Enhanced perimeter weighting and wider, thicker sole focuses weight where it is needed for most golfers to experience a higher ball flight, a more solid feel and with precision accuracy. Put some muscle between you and the ball and fire away in confidence.
Ladies! We have not forgotten you. There are also various Golf Irons from the families above also made just for the Ladies of the game! The following information should be of value to you when you are considering your next Set of Golf Irons.
The Acer XK Ladies iron is designed for ladies looking to improve upon their iron play.
The all-new Lady Acer XP905 Iron is designed with the lady golfer in mind. Featuring hot pink colors, the extra large sole and wide undercut channel enables the player to get the ball up in the air quickly and accurately making this one of our most game improving irons to date.
The new Bellissima Irons are a truly unique ladies set, not only in design and concept, but for their stunning appearance and performance as well. Since women first stepped on a golf course, their clubs have been ill-equipped for their needs. Our design team’s goal was concentrated on a ladies-specific line tailored to become more user-friendly for today’s lady’s golfer. The Bellissima irons provide the proper amount of loft to propel the ball with an elevated trajectory, while the generous wide and contoured sole helps it glide smoothly across virtually any condition. Authentic Swarovski crystals embedded in the sole complement the striking butterfly medallion.
Beginners, Pros, Juniors, Seniors, Men, and Ladies, you need not look any further for your next Set of Golf Irons. With the information you have just obtained along with even more details from our website we hope that this will assist you when you are choosing your next Set of Irons!

Article Source: www.articlesnatch.com Fri, 30 Oct 2009 19:35:08 -0400The Game of Golf has most definitely changed throughout the years. Well, not so much the game, but the Golf Clubs and Accessories available sure have.
I remember when I first started playing Golf, decades ago. The only thing metal about our Golf Clubs were the Golf Irons and of course your putter. A very good Golf Driver was made of persimmons wood. And Fairway Woods were exactly that, Woods. Hybrid Irons? What’s that? Fairway Metal? Come on now.
Back then we considered a 250 yard drive huge. Now, heck, these guys are hitting them out to 400 yards or more. A 300 yard drive for a pro is not just a standard but it’s almost expected. Hitting the long ball has taken on a whole new meaning.
My Dad and I play together as often as we can. We live in different parts of the country so it is not as often as we would like. But I can think of a number of occasions when we both hit great tee shots. My Dad would say “yours was youth, mine was technology.” Youth? Dad I’m pushing fifty now. I could use some of that help too.
Titanium Drivers with Graphite Shafts customized to fit your swing, various lofts available for each and every Golf Club, sixty degree Golf Wedges that just about throw the ball straight up in the air, and yet we still cannot par every hole. I know HOW to make good shots. But even the pros mess up a round now and then. You just have to keep coming back! No matter how much better we make the Golf Clubs and how much technology allows us to refine our game, it is still just that, a game.
Scores are getting lower every year. Courses are getting longer. Hole are more and more challenging. Golf Clubs are being manufactured with such forgiveness that is difficult not to hit a bad shot. But Golf is a game. And no matter what changes take place it is still up to us, the Golfers, to swing the Golf Clubs and make the shots. I love this game!
I hope you have enjoyed reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I would also like to invite you to visit one of our websites to see an array of Golf Clubs and Accessories at discounted prices. Be sure to follow the link in the resource box and get all the Golf Equipment you need to Make Better Shots From Tee to Green. Thank you! Gatonet, Inc.

The Callaway golf club is one of the most popular and also reliable types of golf club in the market today. There are so many people (particularly retired men) that are fascinated with golf today and it is no wonder why the Callaway golf club is now in the peak of success in the world of golf clubs.
The Callaway Golf club is headed by Ely Callaway. He bought half of Hickory Stick USA and renamed it Callaway Hickory Stick USA. After purchasing it, he decided to hire the best people that would be an instrument in supporting his dream of Callaway golf club. He hired Richard C. Helmstetter to be the Chief Club Designer and this as others would say is the point of no return. The designs for Callaway golf club are truly revolutionary and innovative which is why the Callaway golf club is dubbed as the type of golf club that is unique and also high-performance kind golf equipment. After that, Ely Callaway renamed his company into Callaway Golf and then relocated from Cathedral City, California to a sleepy seaside town called Carlsbad, which is just north of San Diego.
One of the most innovative designs that the firm came up with was to create a stainless steel driver that had a larger and more forgiving head than any previous design. The CEO, Callaway dubbed it as Big Bertha which was derived from a German cannon back in WWI, which was famous for its capability of shooting long distance range. This type of design was the one that made Callaway golf club a house hold name in the states because it experienced millions of sales and the Big Bertha type of Callaway golf club was the reason why Callaway became the number one manufacturer of golf clubs not only in the US but in the whole world which shows how popular golf is to the whole world.
At present, there are six classifications of the Callaway Golf club. The first classification is the drivers which are comprised of two models, which are the Big Bertha Fusion FT4, and Big Bertha Titanium 454. The next classification of Callaway golf club is called the Fairway Woods. Fairway Woods have three types of clubs which are Big Bertha Fusion Fairway Woods, Big Bertha Titanium Fairway Woods, and Big Bertha Fairway Woods. The next classification of the Callaway golf club is a hybrid, which is designed for long and distant, shots. The model for this type of Callaway golf club is called Big Bertha Heavenwood Hybrids. The next classification is called irons which are divided into five types of models and these are Big Bertha, Big Bertha Fusion, X-Tour, X-18, and X-18 Pro. Another classification of the Callaway golf club would be the wedges and the model here is called Forged Wedges. The last classification for Callaway golf club is called the Putters. The Putters have two models in its classification which are Callaway golf I-Trax Putter and tour Blue.
The classification and models of Callaway Gold Club mentioned above are the ones that the firm manufactures. All of these models were made in the lieu with science, research, and practice. All of these models are worth a try and who knows? You might be the next Tiger Woods in the world of golf.
Is there really any information about golf clubs that is nonessential? We all see things from different angles, so something relatively insignificant to one may be crucial to another.

Article Source: www.articlesnatch.com Fri, 30 Oct 2009 19:34:13 -0400In golf, the clubs that you use can have a major influence on how far you can hit your ball and how much control you have over the balls flight. Woods and irons each have their own usage on the golf course, with woods typically being used to drive the ball straight over long distances due to the ease of hitting the ball with the woods face, while irons give a bit more control but lack somewhat in the distance game and in regards to the ease of hitting the ball. Hybrid clubs combine aspects of both woods and irons, providing golfers with a club that provides the control of an iron with the ease of hitting that one would expect from a wood.
Hybrid clubs generally feature heads that are similar in shape to woods, though they are made of different materials and are usually a bit shallower than their wood counterparts. The shafts tend to be shorter than that of a wood driver but are slightly longer than standard irons, allowing similar swing mechanics to those of irons to be used. Hybrid clubs are often used to replace irons 1 through 4, though some golfers carry only a single hybrid for use when they need an easy hit but want to keep the ball close to the ground.
Calloway X-Series Hybrids
Calloway X-Series hybrid clubs can be used to replace irons 1 through 5, either individually or as a set. Different shaft options which are available allow you to choose clubs with either a regular flex or a stiffer flex, giving you the precise amount of control on your hits that you want. You can buy Calloway X-Series hybrids in either left-handed or right-handed varieties so that you will be able to experience the advantage of hybrid clubs regardless of the dominant hand in your grip.
Adams Golf Hybrids
Adams Gold offers multiple hybrid club options for both right-handed and left-handed golfers to choose from. The Adams Golf Idea A1, A2, and A3 are all part of Adams Golfs i-Wood product line, which combines the control and precision of an iron with the driving force of a wood. These clubs are available in standard sized and oversized models, allowing golfers additional options when it comes to the head size of their clubs. Club face angles ranging from 16 degrees to 26 degrees are available, letting golfers use i-Wood clubs to replace their 1 to 5 irons with hybrids. Lite-, regular-, and stiff-flex shaft options are also available.
Nike Hybrids
A master when it comes to sports equipment, Nikes hybrid club offerings are sure to impress. Nike hybrid clubs such as the SQ Sumo2 and the Slingshot are designed to offer unique features such as a lower center of gravity and creative designs that will put you at the top of your game. The Slingshot is designed using a carbon crown to adjust the weight distribution of the club head, placing 70% of the heads mass below the center of the ball so as to give more loft with each swing. The SQ Sumo2 uses a unique square design and generous offset in order to create a significant amount of stability at impact, resulting in balls that launch high and land soft. These Nike clubs are available as replacements for up to a 6 iron.
Tour Edge Bazooka Hybrids
The Tour Edge Bazooka GeoMax and JMax hybrids are designed to have a higher moment of inertia, resulting in a more powerful swing with a lot of forgiveness that will place your ball exactly where you want it to lie. These clubs are designed to have a low center of gravity, placing the majority of the club heads mass toward the bottom of the ball while still featuring a large enough head to make hits easy. The mass distribution is one of the contributing factors in the clubs high moment of inertia, maximizing the amount of force thats transferred to the ball upon impact and helping the club to resist twisting in a golfers hand during their swing to ensure proper shot alignment. Bazooka hybrids are available in a range up to 28 degrees, allowing them to replace irons up to a 6.
Orlimar Hybrids
The Orlimar X3 hybrid is designed with two weighted inserts in the back of the club head, shifting the X3s center of gravity and maximizing its moment of inertia to ensure a solid hit and a powerful swing. Available in regular flex and stiff flex varieties with either a 19 degree or 22 degree face, the X3 can be a great addition to your golf bag as a replacement for either a 3 iron or a 4 iron.

Article Source: www.articlesnatch.com Fri, 30 Oct 2009 19:33:50 -0400While some golfers may choose to assemble a full set of clubs piece by piece from a number of different club types, there are certain advantages to buying golf clubs as a set from a single manufacturer. Many club manufacturers design their irons and woods to be used together, incorporating similar technologies in their creation so as to provide a similar swing experience and center of gravity.
Golf club sets are more likely to have a gradual shift in the feel of irons and woods, whereas individual clubs from different manufacturers that have been pieced together into a set may have significant differences in the moment of inertia and overall feel of the swing from one club to the next. Full sets are also more likely to have similar speeds on the face of the club and amounts of momentum transference, scaling distance and power across the set as well.
Another advantage of purchasing a full set from a single manufacturer lies in the price of the set; many golf club manufacturers offer special prices on full sets which make them significantly cheaper than buying individual clubs and building a set of your own. Multiple sets containing the same clubs may be available, with additional clubs being included in the different sets. A basic set may contain only the most common drivers and irons plus a putter, while a full set will likely have all of the irons, drivers, and wedges plus one or two putters. Some golf club sets may contain hybrid irons or clubs made of alternate materials such as titanium heads or graphite shafts as well.
Alien Golf
One of the most popular golf club sets offered by Alien Golf is the Solar System Complete Set. The set contains 16 clubs, including an oversized driver and a fairway wood, two hybrid fairway woods, seven stainless steel irons, and a putter. The driver features a 460cc head designed to help prevent poor hits, while the seven irons feature cavity backs to change the center of gravity and help your strokes to get under the ball. All of the clubs are designed with long, straight hits in mind so as to take strokes off of your game and keep the ball exactly where you want it to be. Also included in the set are headcovers for the woods and a stand bag with four dividers, a rain hood, a towel ring, and easy access pockets.
Hippo Golf
For those looking for a complete set of clubs, consider the Hippo Golf Giant XT Complete Set. The set contains 11 clubs, including a driver, a fairway wood, two hybrids, irons ranging from #5 to a pitching wedge, and a putter. The driver, fairway wood, and hybrids all feature graphite shafts for extra flexibility, while the irons and the pitching wedge all have stainless steel shafts in order to maximize power. The putter is a mallet-style putter, designed to help you get the ball across the green and into the hole. In addition to the clubs, the Giant XT Complete Set comes with an ergonomically-designed dual strap stand bag with pockets for storage space.
PowerBilt Golf
The PowerBilt Golf Dynasty Complete Set is a popular option for buying a golf club set that will deliver the power and ball control that you want. An 11-piece set, it contains a driver and a #3 fairway wood, two hybrids, irons from #5 to a pitching wedge, and a putter. The driver and wood are designed with a low center of gravity to provide an exceptional moment of inertia, ensuring the loft and distance that you want with minimal spin. The hybrids grant the power and control of an iron but are as easy to hit as a driver, while the irons themselves allow you to easily customize your game to the requirements of the course. The set also includes a stand bag with dual straps and an automatic standing mechanism, pockets for storage, and a matching rain hood.
Wilson Golf
A trusted name in golf, Wilson offers the Profile Anti-Slice Complete Set for those who want to gain control of their game and eliminate their slices in order to cut strokes from their score. The Profile Anti-Slice set features 11 clubs, with an offset 460cc driver and an offset fairway wood, two hybrids, six perimeter-weighted stainless steel irons, and a high moment of inertia alignment putter. Every club in the set is optimized to help you get straight shots down the fairway and across the green, with the woods and irons assisting you in achieving optimal loft with minimal spin on the ball. Also in the set is a lightweight stand bag with dual straps and matching headcovers for the woods.
